With the type RC5+, Carbone Lorraine has developed a brake pad made for street use whose friction gives a huge improvement over a normal standard brake pad. In addition, these pads give virtually no brake dust. The RC5+ brake pads are made of sintered material. This unique material is very effective at both the first cold touch and at temperatures of around 1000 degrees Celsius. The compound of this brake pad also gives a firmer pedal pressure.
